The Holy Godavari
A sacred river where Kumbh bathing is believed to cleanse sins and grant moksha.
The Kumbh Mela is the world's largest peaceful gathering, a spiritual congregation that transcends time and brings together millions in pursuit of divine grace. Nashik holds a special place among the four sacred Kumbh sites.

A sacred river where Kumbh bathing is believed to cleanse sins and grant moksha.

Myth says drops of Amrit fell in Nashik, making it a holy Kumbh site.

Panchavati in Nashik is linked to Lord Rama’s exile in the Ramayana.

Kumbh Mela in Nashik occurs every 12 years with strong spiritual importance.

By Air (Flights) : Fly into Nashik Ozar Airport (ISK) located 20 km from the center for direct domestic flights from Mumbai and Delhi. Alternatively, international travelers can land at Mumbai Airport (BOM) and take a scenic 3–4 hour road or rail trip to Nashik.

By Train (Railways) : Nashik Road Railway Station (NK) is a major central rail hub with excellent connectivity across India. Daily express and superfast trains connect Mumbai (CSMT/Dadar) directly to Nashik, completing the journey in just 3 to 3.5 hours.

By Road (Highways & Buses) : Nashik is seamlessly connected via smooth national highways like the Mumbai-Nashik Expressway (NH-160). State-run MSRTC buses, luxury private AC sleepers, and outstation cabs operate 24/7 from Mumbai, Pune, and surrounding regions.

Citilinc Public Buses (NMPML) : Nashik's official Citilinc bus network will operate special, high-frequency shuttle services during the event. These routes directly connect the railway station, main bus depots, and key city hubs straight to the primary Mela grounds.

Auto-Rickshaws : Three-wheelers are widely available for quick transit across the city. Note that auto-rickshaw access will be restricted or zoned off around the core bathing areas on peak shahi snan (holy bathing) days to manage crowd density.

Pedestrian Walkways (On Foot) : Walking is the most efficient way to navigate the immediate Mela zones and reach the bathing ghats. The administration is setting up dedicated pedestrian-only barricaded lanes to ensure safe, smooth, and vehicle-free movement.

Crowd Safety & Awareness : Stay with your group and establish clear meeting points. Follow directions from police and trained volunteers, and remain highly alert of your personal belongings in crowded areas to avoid pickpockets.

Hydration & Safe Eating : Carry a reusable water bottle and stay well-hydrated throughout the day. Avoid unhygienic street food and strictly opt for freshly prepared meals to prevent stomach infections.

Personal Hygiene & Protection : Keep a personal hygiene kit handy with hand sanitizer, tissues, and essential medications. Wear a face mask while moving around the grounds to safeguard against heavy dust and airborne pollutants.

Emergency Medical Services : Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency medical camps. The Mela administration will have multiple temporary medical tents and fully equipped first-aid centers distributed across the venue.
